It’s a complicated world today. So many distractions with technology. Parents overwhelmingly busy with work, home, children’s activities, and parenting demands. Kids bombarded with television, computers, and notifications continuously pinging...

A few weeks ago, I had posted a question in an author Facebook group and shared the link to our first book, What the Dickens?!?!:  The Tale of a Rascally Pup.  Someone in the group (fortunately not a children's author) commented and suggested that the word “rascally” was too advanced to use in a book for young children.  Wow!  I certainly hope not!

Children learn the fundamentals of life from day one.  Our hope is that in a loving home, they learn to trust. To love and be loved. To make decisions. To have faith in themselves. To foster relationships. To work well with others. To be sensitive. To be brave and strong. To try new things, but also know when to walk away. All of this with the end goal of successfully shaping their own lives to be who they want to be.
